McCain has got to be kidding me!

The invoking of fear in the McCain campaign is clearly seen. They are screaming that they are for change as well, but what change are they speaking about? They are pushing for the same things as the Bush administration, tax breaks for the rich, drilling in Alaska, endangering our environment, healthcare for the elite, all of our children left behind, our privacy is consistently being invaded (patriot act), and our foreign policy and diplomacy is in the shitter. We cannot have another 4-8 years of the same.
Let’s not fear change, let’s embrace it, it’s imperative to progress and grow as a country, and if we do not elect Barack Obama as our next president we will be electing to go back to the future. We will be trying the same things and we will be using the same strategy and the same people to get different end results. That is the definition of insanity, to do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result.

John McCain is revered because he was a POW, and that’s nice, but why am I revering someone that knew the dangers of the job. When you enlist there is a risk of war, and with the risk of war there is death, potentially being captured and/or tortured, or being injured. That is like me patting a parent on their shoulder for taking care of their child, that’s what your SUPPOSE to do, it is your job. Not to mention, most of the veterans can’t stand McCain because he cooperated with the enemy, and he blocked other POWs from returning to America after the war. Why is this “maverick” being revered? There were other POWs, just like in this war there were people who were captured and tortured, should all of them run for president? Being held captive and ranking 894 out of a class of 899 are not the qualifications of Commander in Chief. But maybe someone who graduated Magna cum Laude from Harvard with their J.D. is, someone with a B.A. in political science and a concentration in international relations, a person who is cool under pressure, can think quick on his feet and is consistent in what he says and does MAY be the person we are looking for to take lead of this country, and help it get back on track. Let’s stay focused America , don’t let the smoke screen and the slick words fool you. You can always put lipstick on a pig, but at the end of the day, it’s still a pig.

Attached is a link to McCain contradicting himself over and over again, please take a look at what we may potentially allow in office. Pass along to all your friends or whomever will be voting. Thank you!
